Terms of Sale
Last updated: October 17, 2026
These terms cover purchases from fedprobenow.us. The seller is House Of Biz & Company (“we,” “us”), Chicago, Illinois, contact hello@fedprobenow.us. By buying, you agree to these terms, our Refund Policy, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer.
1. What we sell
- Before You Pay (PDF guide, $19): a digital download for your personal and household use.
- FedProbeNow Business Verification checks (prices on the services page): a written summary of publicly available records about a business, its licenses, its website, or its offer, plus anything you send us, as of the date we checked.
2. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number. Prices are in U.S. dollars. If a tax applies to your purchase, it will be shown at checkout.
3. Delivery
- Guide: after payment you are redirected to the download page. If that fails, email us and we’ll send the file.
- Services: the turnaround listed for each check starts when we receive the details we ask for on the order page, counted in business days (Monday to Friday, Central Time, excluding U.S. federal holidays).
4. License for the guide
You may download, keep, and print the guide for your own personal and household use. Please don’t resell, redistribute, or post the file publicly. You may print and share the Pause Card freely.
5. Scope of verification services
- We check businesses and public business records only. We do not research individual people, do background checks, locate anyone, conduct surveillance, use pretexting, or access private accounts.
- Our reports are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You agree not to use them, in whole or in part, for decisions about employment, tenant screening or housing, credit, or insurance, or for any other purpose covered by that Act.
- You confirm your request has a lawful purpose, such as deciding whether to pay or contract with a business, and that you won’t use a report to harass anyone.
- If we decide a request is outside this scope, we will tell you and refund it in full.
6. No guarantee; not advice
Public records can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. A clean result does not guarantee that a business is honest, and a flagged item is not proof of wrongdoing. Everything we sell is educational and informational. It is not legal, financial, or tax advice. We are not a law firm, not a licensed private detective or investigator, and not a government agency.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including money you pay to a third party. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can’t be waived.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Before filing any claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you bought applies to that purchase.
